Markings: The left side of the barrel is marked “Smith & Wesson.” The right side of the barrel is marked “S&W .357 Magnum.” The frame has the S&W logo, and the right side of the frame is marked with the four-line Marcas Registradas address.

Sights / Optics: The front sight is a serrated ramp on a raised boss. The rear sight is a micrometer-adjustable square-notch sight.
Grip Configuration & Condition: The grips are smooth Goncalo Alves presentation grips with the “football cut.” They show handling marks and small scratches, which are more observable on the butt. The grips rate in about Very Good overall condition.
Type of Finish: Blued with Case-Colored Hammer and Trigger

Bore Condition: The bore is semi-bright, and the rifling is sharp. There is light stubborn fouling throughout. In this writer’s opinion, the bore rates 9/10.
Overall Condition: This revolver retains about 98% of its metal finish. The balance of the finish shows very light handling wear, with a faint turn line on the cylinder. The front face of the cylinder shows light burn marks. The case coloring on the hammer and trigger remains bold. The screw heads are sharp, the pins are clean, and the markings are crisp. Overall, this revolver rates in about Excellent condition.
Mechanics: The action functions correctly. We did not fire this revolver. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance requirements.
