Our Assessment: The .32-20 Winchester / 7.94x33mmR, also known as .32 WCF (Winchester center fire), was the first small-game lever-action cartridge that Winchester produced. It was initially introduced as a black-powder cartridge in 1882 for small-game, varmint hunting, and deer. Colt produced a single-action revolver chambered for this cartridge a few years later.
This is a Blued, 32 WCF Hand Ejector 4th Model 1905 with a 6 inch pinned barrel from the early 20th century. The Model is identical in size and shape to the “Model of 1903 Fifth Change”; This is a small-framed .32-20 revolver with a six shot capacity. The revolver retains about 98% of its metal finish with a gorgeous bore and strong bluing with a smooth trigger and checkered hammer. This revolver was originally shipped from the S&W factory on February 27th, 1924 to a man named George A. Lowe in Ogden, Utah. The revolver fortunately retained its original configuration. If you are a Smith and Wesson collector looking to collect them all this will be a fine addition to anyone’s armory. Please see our photos, and good luck on your bid! -R.E.
