Markings: The left side of the slide is marked “SIG SAUER”, “MADE IN GERMANY”, and “SIGARMS INC. / EXETER-NH”, the right side is marked “G 517 441”, “Eagle / N”, “P220 S”, and “DE”. The right side of the barrel, visible through the ejection port is marked “.45 Auto”, the left is marked “SIG SAUER / DE ‘eagle / N’ ‘Kiel proof’ BE”. The right side of the frame is marked with the serial number, “DE”, and “Eagle / N”.

Sights / Optics: The pistol has a front blade with a serrated face dovetailed to the slide and an adjustable rear square notch with a serrated rear face pinned in the slide.
Stock Configuration & Condition: The grips are checkered wood panels with checkering on the sides; the panels envelop the back strap and leave the checkered front strap exposed. The panels flare at the bottom providing more control. Each panel is marked “SIG SAUER” at the bottom. There are a few faint draglines on the upper smooth portions of each panel. The checkering is sharp. There are no cracks or chip losses. The grips rate in about Fine-Excellent overall condition.

Finish Originality: Original
Bore Condition: The bore is mostly bright and the rifling is sharp. There is no erosion in the bore but there is some persistent fouling in the grooves. In this writer’s opinion, the bore rates 9/10.
Overall Condition: This handgun retains about 99% of its metal finish. There is no significant wear or damage. There is operational wear on the chamber. The screw heads are sharp. The markings are crisp. Overall, this handgun rates in about Excellent condition.
Mechanics: The action functions correctly. This pistol features a a crisp, light single action trigger. We did not fire this handgun. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance standards.
Box, Paperwork & Accessories: This pistol comes in a Sig Sauer hard case with two 8-round magazines, gun oil, and a manual.
Our Assessment: This is the legendary P220S X-Six from Sig Sauer, in all stainless steel construction, made in Germany Ca. 2010. The durability, accuracy and effectiveness of this platform has been tried, tested and proven for decades now. According to Sig Sauer’s website, the pistol can chew through 10,000 rounds in a single day with no issues; we offer anyone to step up to the plate and survive 10,000 rounds of .45 in one day just to prove them wrong. The P220 Sport features a 6” barrel and an extremely light and crisp trigger. If you are looking for a home defense or target gun with some serious swagger look no further.
