Our Assessment: SIG Sauer’s P220 is one of the company’s classic full-size service pistol designs, long respected for its reliability, DA/SA roots, and strong association with duty and defensive use, while this Custom Shop S-Match variant gives the platform a more refined, target-oriented single action only configuration. This 2010 P220R S-Match Two-Tone is chambered in .45 ACP, one of the most iconic American pistol cartridges, valued for its broad ammunition availability, substantial bullet weight, and long-standing pairing with full-size service and match pistols. This example features a 5″ barrel, stainless slide over a black alloy frame, German-made frame markings, integral M1913 accessory rail, tritium front sight, adjustable rear sight, ambidextrous safety, checkered laminate wood grips, and one 8-round factory magazine. The Custom Shop provenance, SAO operation, adjustable sights, two-tone finish, and classic .45 ACP chambering should appeal to SIG collectors and shooters looking for a refined range or target pistol.
