Sights / Optics: The front sight is beaded blade integral to a ramp that is screwed to the barrel. The rear sight is a foldable invertible U/Square notch with a white diamond. The top of the receiver is mounted with a Savage 1.5-4X Scope with a fine wire reticle with a clear picture.  The scope is in very good overall condition.

Stock Configuration & Condition: The stock is a two piece checkered wood, semi-pistol grip, raised comb, serrated buttplate. The LOP measures 14 ?” from the front of the trigger to the back of the buttplate. There are scratches and compression marks throughout.  The stock rates in about Very Good overall condition.

Finish Originality: Original

Bore Condition: The bore is bright  and the rifling is sharp. There is no erosion in the bore.  In the opinion of the writer the bore rates 9/10.

Overall Condition: This rifle retains about 98% of its metal finish. The balance of the finish shows operational and handling wear. There are light scratches throughout the finish. The screw heads are sharp. The pins are unmarred. The markings are sharp. Overall, this rifle rates in about Very Good condition.

Mechanics: The action functions correctly. We did not fire this rifle. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance requirements.
