Markings: The left side of the receiver is marked “Savage / Westfield Mass. U.S.A.” and “Anschutz / Ulm West Germany.” The left side of the barrel is marked “Caliber .22 Long Rifle / Made in West Germany.” The right side of the barrel is marked “Savage Anschutz Match 64.” There are proof marks on the receiver and barrel.

Sights / Optics: The rifle is mounted with a Lyman Super Targetspot scope, marked “LYMAN GUN SIGHT CORP / MIDDLEFIELD, CONN. U.S.A. PAT. NO. 96634 PAT. PEND.” The scope appears to be in excellent condition, with clear glass and intact markings.
Stock Configuration & Condition: The rifle features a smooth wood stock with an adjustable polymer buttplate, 14” accessory rail under the forend, raised comb with cheek piece, and pistol grip. The stock has some light handling marks and minor surface scratches but remains in solid condition. The length of pull measures approximately 13 3/4” from the front of the trigger to the back of the black polymer buttplate. The stock rates in about Very Good overall condition.

Bore Condition: The bore is bright, the rifling is sharp. There is no visible erosion in the bore but there is stubborn fouling throughout. In this writer’s opinion, the bore rates 10/10.
Overall Condition: This rifle retains about 95% of its original metal finish. There are light handling marks and some minor finish thinning. The receiver and barrel show mild wear, with some finish loss near the edges. The screw heads are sharp, and the markings are clear. Overall, this rifle rates in about Very Good condition.
Mechanics: The action functions correctly. We did not fire this rifle. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance requirements.
