Markings:  The left side of the receiver is marked “200”, “L579 Made In Finland”.  The Scope is marked “5X Burris”.  Both sides of the grip have Pachmayr medallions.  The Scope rings are marked “WEAVER 1” USA”.

Barrel Length:  14”

Sights / Optics: The top of the receiver has scope rails.  The rails are mounted with a Burris 5x Riflescope.  The sight picture is clear.  The lenses need to be cleaned.   The top of the barrel is drilled and tapped.

Stock Configuration & Condition: This pistol has a stainless steel benchrest chassis with finger grooves.  A heavy stainless steel bull barrel with recessed crown.  The pistol grip is a checkered Pachmayr rubber overmold grip.  The trigger is an adjustable trigger.  Overall, the stock is in Fine condition.

Magazine Quantity & Condition: Internal 5rd magazine.

Finish Originality:  Custom Pistol Original

Bore Condition: The bore is bright and the rifling is sharp. There is no erosion in the bore.  The bore does need a light cleaning.

Overall Condition:  This rifle retains about 97% of its metal finish. There are only light handling marks and minor operational wear. The screw heads are sharp. The markings are clear. Overall, this pistol rates in Excellent condition.

Mechanics:  The action functions correctly.  We did not fire this pistol. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance standards.

Our Assessment:  Definitely a unique custom piece, this modified .308 Pistol is set up for some extreme target shooting.  With a heavy stainless steel bull barrel and stainless steel benchrest chassis, the extra weight mitigates the rifle caliber’s recoil for faster follow up shots and maintaining target acquisition.  If you are looking for something that stands out from anything else on the market, then this pistol is the perfect fit.  Please see our photos and good luck!
