Markings: The underside of the barrel is marked “THE GARCIA CORP..WASH..B.C.”. The left side of the barrel is marked “FINNBEAR MADE IN FINLAND”. The chamber is marked “SAKO / cal.270”. The left side of the receiver is marked “L61R No. 512205” with two proofs. The buttpad is marked “SAKO / RIIHIMAKI / SUOMI FINLAND”. The bottom of the bolt handle is marked “205” in electro pencil.

Sights/Optics: There are no provisions for iron sights on this rifle. The receiver is grooved for mounting an optic (not included).
Stock Configuration and Condition: The stock is one-piece skip-line checkered wood with a rosewood capped forend and semi-pistol grip, fluted Monte Carlo comb with cheek-piece, and a brown rubber ventilated recoil pad. There are sling swivels front and rear. There is a white bear’s head inlay in the grip cap. There are only light handling marks including a few small compressions on the right side of the stock near the floorplate. There are no chips or cracks. The checkering is sharp. The LOP measures 13 7/8” from the trigger to the rubber recoil pad. The recoil pad is soft and remains pliable. The stock rates in about Excellent overall condition.

Bore Condition: The bore is bright and the rifling is sharp. There is no erosion in the bore. In this writer’s opinion the bore rates 10/10.
Overall Condition: This rifle retains about 99% of its metal finish. There is no significant wear present. The screw heads are sharp. The markings are clear. Overall, this rifle rates in about Excellent overall condition.
Mechanics: The action functions correctly. We did not fire this rifle. As with all previously owned firearms, thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance standards.
