Our Assessment: The Mosin Nagant M91/30 was the primary service rifle of the Soviet Union through the 1930s and into the Second World War. The 91/30 featured several improvements over the M91. The hooded front sight enabled easier target acquisition and the rear sight was redesigned to use meters. The 91/30 and its later iterations would serve not only the Soviet Union but many other nations including Hungary, Romania, Finland, and China.

This is an example of an interwar 1942 Izhevsk-made PU Sniper M91/30. The stock has some wear to the finish, but it is still in nice shape considering that it was made during WWII. The bore on this is in good shape and should make for an effective shooter. This would make a fantastic addition to any Mosin or Second World War collection. So bid high and bid firm. I highly encourage you to take a look at the condition of the rifle in our high-quality photos. Good luck with your bid. -K.F.
