Sights / Optics: The front sight is an adjustable post with protective wings. The rear sight is a “U” notched leaf sliding sight escalator. The gas tube has been replaced with a Ultimak M1-B picatinny rail. A Holosun 403GL Elite green dot has been installed.
Stock Configuration & Condition: This rifle has a two piece Magpul synthetic stock set with a Magpul semi pistol grip and an underfolding stock. There is little to no wear throughout. There are light scratches. There are no chips or cracks. Overall this stock set rates in about Very Good Plus condition.

Bore Condition: The bore is bright and the rifling is sharp. There is no erosion in the bore. In this writer’s opinion the bore rates 9 out of 10.
Overall Condition: This rifle retains about 98% of its metal finish. The balance of the finish shows light handling and operational wear. There are a few light scratches throughout. There is operational wear from the safety switch. The screw heads are sharp and rivets are unmarred. The markings are clear. Overall, this rifle rates in about Very Good Plus condition.
Mechanics: The action functions correctly. We did not fire this rifle. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance requirements.
Box, Paperwork & Accessories: This rifle comes with the mentioned green dot and ALG trigger as well as its original handguard, addition upper vented handguard, piston tube, and checkered synthetic pistol grip.
Our Assessment: The Russian Saiga Legion rifle is a factory-produced civilian variant of the Kalashnikov platform, manufactured at the Izhevsk arsenal and imported through Legion USA. Built on original Russian receivers with proper AK geometry, these rifles are highly regarded among enthusiasts for their authenticity and quality compared to many other imports. Chambered in 7.62x39mm, the cartridge introduced in 1943, the platform retains the proven long stroke gas piston system that defines the AKM lineage while offering a modernized sporting configuration.
This example retains about 98 percent of its original black finish with light handling and operational wear, including minor scratches and typical safety lever wear along the receiver. The Magpul furniture set with semi pistol grip and underfolding stock shows minimal use with only light marks and remains in Very Good Plus condition with no cracks or damage. The rifle is equipped with an Ultimak M1-B railed gas tube and a mounted Holosun 403GL Elite green dot optic. The bore is bright with sharp rifling and no visible erosion, rating 9 out of 10 in this writer’s opinion. The action functions correctly and the rifle presents as a clean example of a Russian Saiga with desirable aftermarket enhancements.
