Choke: The barrel is threaded for removable chokes. There are currently inserted Skeet/Skeet chokes. This firearm also comes with a choke insert for full, Improved Cylinder, and Modified.

Sights / Optics: The front sight is a brass bead. There is a back sight which is a white bead.

Stock Configuration & Condition: The stocks are a two-piece checkered hardwood. The buttstock has a black capped pistol grip. The wood shows a few light draglines, as well as handling and storage marks. Notably, there is a mercury recoil reducer installed in the buttstock under the butt-plate. The LOP measures 14 ¼” from the front of the trigger to the back of the buttplate. The stocks rate in about Excellent overall condition.

Bore Condition: The upper bore is bright, the lower bore is bright. There is no erosion in the bore. In this writer’s opinion and for the age, this bore rates a 9.5 out of 10!

Overall Condition: This shotgun retains about 99% of its metal finish. The balance of the finish shows light handling and storage marks. This gun has been extremely well cared for. The markings are crisp. Overall, this shotgun rates in about Excellent condition.

Mechanics: The action functions correctly. This shotgun uses a single selective mechanical trigger with automatic safety ejectors. We did not fire this firearm. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance requirements.

Box, Paperwork & Accessories: Included with this firearm is a serial number matching Ruger box. Also included are three different size chokes (F), (IC), (M), and spare parts.

This Ruger Red Label is pristine! Not only does it include the factory box with matching serial number, but it has been kept in excellent condition. It has a mercury recoil reducer installed in the stock, so recoil will be hardly noticeable with this shotgun! The bores are incredibly bright, the wood has sharp checkering with very minor wear, and the finish still looks like it is fresh from the factory.
