Markings: The top receiver tang is marked with the serial number, “411-68227”. The underside of the receiver is marked “STURM, RUGER & CO., INC. / SOUTHPORT, CONN. / —U.S.A—”. The left side of the block is marked with “12 GA. 3” CHAMBERS” and a proof mark. The bottom of the mono block is serial matching, hand-scribed “8277”. The underside of the forend and the grip cap are marked with inset gold Ruger phoenix medallions. The buttpad is marked with the Ruger phoenix.
Barrel Length: 28” Vent ribbed barrel.
Choke: Both barrels are threaded for Ruger Red label chokes currently installed with Modified over Modified.
Sights/Optics: There is a brass bead fixed to the front of the barrel rib. The top of the rib is serrated to reduce glare.
Stock Configuration and Condition: The checkered synthetic furniture set includes a thin profile forend, and a capped semi pistol grip stock with fluted straight comb and a rubber buttpad. The LOP measures 14.25” from the front of the trigger to the back of the buttpad. The drop at comb is 1.5” and the drop at heel is 2.75”. The shotgun weighs 7lbs 14OZ. The furniture shows scattered minor lines and handling wear with no notable marks. The buttpad is soft and pliable with no notable wear. Overall this furniture is in Very Good+ to Excellent condition.

Bore Condition: The bores are mirror bright with no erosion, barely visible lines from use and no plastic fouling. In this writer’s opinion the bores rate 9.5/10.
Overall Condition: The finish shows some scattered minor marks and lines. The barrel set has some discoloration from age. There is a minor rust spot on the left side of the receiver. The rib has some minor play to the posts. The markings are clear. Overall this shotgun is in Very Good+ condition.
Mechanics: The action functions correctly. The lock up is tight with no play. We have not fired this shotgun. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your standards.
Box, Paperwork, and Accessories: This shotgun includes the two choke tubes.
