Markings: The Left Side of the receiver is marked: “RUGER PRECISION NEWPORT – NH – USA” The serial number, and “Safe” “Fire”. The right side of the receiver is marked: “Safe” Fire”. The Left Side of the barrel is marked: “300 PRC READ INSTRUCTION MANUAL BEFORE USING FIREARM”

Barrel Length: 26” .890” Diameter at the muzzle, threaded 5/8-24. The barrel has a SilencerCo ASR 3-prong Flash Hider which is compatible with their ASR silencer/ suppressor mounts.

Twist Rate: 1:9” RH

Sights / Optics: None. The top of the receiver is equipped with a 30 MOA Picatinny rail.

Stock Configuration & Condition:  The rifle is equipped with the Ruher AR-style pistol grip, Ruger’s adjustable folding stock, and the newer free-floating forearm with M-Lok slots for mounting accessories as well as an ARCA rail machined in the underside.

Type of Finish: The receiver is finished with Type III Black Hard-Coat Anodizing.

Finish Originality: Original

Bore Condition: The bore is bright and the rifling is sharp. There is no visible erosion in the bore. There is some fouling in the grooves. In this writer’s opinion, the bore rates about 9/10.

Overall Condition:  This rifle retains about 98% of its metal finish. There are a few light scratches on the receiver and the handguard. The screw heads are sharp. The markings are clear. Overall, this rifle rates in about Excellent condition.

Mechanics: The action functions correctly. We did not fire this rifle. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance requirements.
