Markings: The left side of the barrel is marked “BEFORE USING GUN – READ WARNINGS IN INSTRUCTION MANUAL AVAILABLE FREE FROM / STURM, RUGER & CO. INC. SOUTHPORT, CONN. U.S.A.”. The right side of the frame is marked “RUGER .357 MAXIMUM CAL / NEW MODEL BLACKHAWK”. The serial number “600-01592” is located on the right side of the frame below the cylinder. Ruger emblem appears on the wood grips.
Barrel Length: 10 1/2”
Sights / Optics: The front sight is a ramped blade fixed to the barrel. The rear sight is an adjustable square-notch.
Grip Configuration & Condition: The grips are two-piece smooth walnut with the Ruger emblem inlaid on each panel. The grips show light handling wear and rate in about Fine condition.

Finish Originality: Original
Bore Condition: The bore is bright, and the rifling is sharp. There is no erosion in the bore. In this writer’s opinion, the bore rates 9/10.
Overall Condition: This revolver retains about 95% of its metal finish. The balance of the finish shows minor handling marks and faint turn line on the cylinder. The screw heads are sharp. The markings are clear. Overall, this revolver rates in about Very Good condition.
Mechanics: The action functions correctly. We have not fired this revolver. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance requirements.
