Markings: The left side of the receiver is marked “RUGER MINI-14 CAL..223”. The right side of the receiver is marked “STURM, RUGER & CO., INC. SOUTHPORT, CONN., U.S.A.” followed by the Ruger logo. The serial number “180-01241” is marked on the right side of the receiver beneath the manufacturer information.

Barrel Length: 18”

Sights / Optics: The front sight is beaded blade dovetailed into a post pressed onto the barrel. The rear sight is an adjustable peep sight.

Stock Configuration & Condition: The stock is a 2 piece wood stock with a straight comb, metal butplate, semi pistol grip and smooth forend, 2 slings studs, 1 in the belly of the buttstock and one attached to the forend nose cap with a nylon sling mounted in them. The LOP is 12-¾” from the front of the trigger to the back of the buttplate. There are some light scratches on the stock but no chips or cracks. The stock rates in Very Good condition.

Magazine Quantity & Condition: One 20 round magazine in Excellent condition.

Bore Condition: The bore is bright, the rifling is sharp. There is no visible erosion in the bore. In this writer’s opinion, the bore rates 10/10.

Overall Condition: This rifle retains about 98% of its metal finish. The balance of the finish shows light operation wear. The screw heads are sharp. The pins are unmarred. The markings are sharp. Overall, this rifle rates in about Excellent condition.

Mechanics: The action functions correctly. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance requirements.
