Markings: Right side of the receiver marked “MADE BY S.N. ROMARM S.A./ CUGIR / IN ROMANIA / IMPORTED C.A.I. GEORGIA, VT”, “S” and “F” by the safety lever. The left side of trunnion is marked “S1-19109-2000” below the dust cover and the receiver is marked “SAR-1 / Cal. 7.62x39mm”. The rear of the dust cover is marked “19109”. Top of the rear sight is marked “1-10” “P”. The left side of the Bolt Carrier is marked “19109”.

Sights / Optics: The front sight is an adjustable post iron sight with protective wings. The rear sight is a “U” notched leaf sliding sight escalator.
Stock Configuration & Condition: The stock is wood with a checkered synthetic pistol grip. The buttstock is a fixed wood stock with bottom sling ring and metal buttplate with trap door for cleaning kit storage compartment (not included). The two piece handguard is wood with hand swells. Side of the receiver has rails for adding your favorite Kalashikov sights and optics. The LOP measures 12 7/8” from the front of the trigger to the back of the buttplate. The stock rates in about Very Good overall condition. There are a few nicks on the bottom of the handguard.

Bore Condition: The bore is gray. There is a good amount of fouling. The grooves are well defined. In this writer’s opinion the bore rates 7/10.
Overall Condition: This rifle retains about 85% of its metal finish. The balance of the finish shows light scratches and scuffs spread throughout the rifle. There is thinning and finish loss on the leading edges. There is some rust on the metal behind the handguard on the trunnion. The screw heads are tool marked and pins are serviceable. The markings are clear. Overall, this rifle rates in about Very Good condition.
Mechanics: The action functions correctly. We did not fire this rifle. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance requirements.
