Our Assessment:  The Remington Nylon 76 holds a special place in firearms history as the only lever-action rifle Remington ever produced. It was designed as part of the Nylon series but functioned uniquely with a “Levermatic” action, which operated more like a pump-action rifle than a traditional lever gun. This allowed for extremely fast cycling, making it a popular choice for small-game hunters and shooters who wanted quick follow-up shots with a lever gun.

Produced between 1962 and 1965, the Nylon 76 was only made in limited numbers compared to its semi-automatic Nylon 66 counterpart, making it much rarer and highly desirable among collectors. The unique polymer stock, lightweight design, and smooth lever action make this rifle a fascinating piece of firearms innovation from the mid-20th century.

For collectors, this is a rare opportunity to own one of Remington’s most unique rifles. Whether for nostalgia, investment, or practical shooting, this Nylon 76 is a fantastic find and a must-have for any serious Remington enthusiast.  Please see our photos and good luck with your bids.-C.M.
