Markings: The left side of the receiver is marked with the serial number and “Remington / MODEL XP-100”. The barrel is marked “KR 7 BR .3035 NK”. The left side of the front sight is marked “KR”. The bottom of the muzzle brake is marked “ULTRA BRAKE. The rear sight is marked “KR”.
Barrel Length: 14 1/2? Fluted Bull Barrel.
Sights / Optics: The front sight is a hooded rectangular post screwed to a metal base on the barrel. The rear sight is a fully adjustable rectangular notch sight with a hood screwed to its sides. Both sight has some small dents on the edges along with some moderate handling wear.
Stock Configuration & Condition: The stock is fiberglass with blue shimmer enamel. The action and barrel are bedded in the stock. There are some light handling marks. There are no chips or cracks. There are some scratches on the grip that have resulted in a loss in the enamel. There are some scuffs primarily at the rear of the stock below the receiver. Overall the stock is in about Very Good condition. The bolt is straight fluted.
Type of Finish: Stainless Steel, Blued

Bore Condition: The bore is bright. The rifling is sharp. There are two small patches of corrosion in the bore at about the mid section. In this writer’s opinion the bore rates 8/10.
Overall Condition: This handgun retains about 90% of its metal finish. There are a couple of light marks, most noticeable on the right of the barrel at the muzzle and bolt handle. There is light handling wear. There is standard operational wear. The screwheads show light use. The markings are clear. There is corrosion on the charging handle and on the receiver. Overall, this handgun rates in about Very Good condition.
Mechanics: The action functions correctly. The trigger pull is light and crisp. We did not fire this handgun. As with all used firearms, cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance standards. The bolt stop has been removed from the left side of the receiver.

Our Assessment: The 7mm BR was developed by Remington for the XP-100 for the Unlimited Class in the sport of metallic silhouette shooting and can knock down targets out to 200 yards. The pistol can also be used to hunt small deer species and loaded with light bullets will be great for varmint or predator hunting. This one was well taken care of and has been modified to enhance its performance in every respect. Whether you’re looking for more of a challenge in your hunting, want to show up other shooters on the rifle range with your pistol, or just want a cool bolt-action pistol in a cool caliber, this is an excellent choice.
