Markings: The left side of the receiver is marked “7664612 MODEL SEVEN”. The left side of the chamber is marked “AK 39”. The left side of the barrel is marked “WARNING-READ INSTRUCTION BOOK FOR SAFE OPERATION-FREE FROM REMINGTON ARMS COMPANY INC. ILION. N.Y. U.S.A. 7mm-08”. The right side of the chamber is marked with a series of proofs and “REP A” The rubber buttpad is marked “REMINGTON”. The safety is marked “S” and “F”. The scope is marked “VX-II 3-9x40mm”, “LEUPOLD” and “169356L / MADE IN USA”.
Barrel Length: 18.5”.
Sights / Optics: The top of the barrel has been drilled, tapped and plugged for iron sights . The top of the receiver is drilled and tapped and has a Remington one piece scope mount attached. The Scope mount has a Leupold Vx-2 3-9×40 scope with a second focal plane simple duplex reticle mounted to it. The sight picture is clear, the turrets have positive click adjustments. Overall the Scope is in Excellent Condition.
Stock Configuration & Condition: The stock is one-piece Remington synthetic textured stock with semi-pistol grip, fluted straight comb, Remington rubber buttpad, and 2 sling studs for mounting a sling or bi-pod. The LOP measures approximately 13.25” from the front of the trigger to the back of the rubber buttpad. There are a couple very light surface scratches on the stock. There are no chips or cracks. The stock rates in about Excellent overall condition.

Bore Condition: The bore is bright and the rifling is sharp. There is some mild erosion in the center third of the bore. In this writer’s opinion the bore rates 7/10.
Overall Condition: This rifle retains about 95% of its metal finish. The muzzle, bottom metal, trigger guard and bolt handle show the majority of the finish loss and wear. The markings are clear. The screwheads are strong and sharp. Overall, this rifle rates in about Very Good condition.
Mechanics: The action functions correctly. We did not fire this rifle. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance requirements.
