Our Assessment: The Remington Model 11 is the box magazine fed bolt action member of the Nylon family. The Nylon series was the first mass-produced rifle to feature a stock made from a material other than wood. The synthetic stock used on these rifles meant that they could operate in more adverse conditions than their wood stocked counterparts. Some have speculated that the lightweight of the guns could potentially cause substandard accuracy in the field, but this does not seem to be a complaint from Nylon series shooters. The Nylon Model 10 was only produced from 1962-1964 and they only produced approximately 22,426 and this one is made even rarer by having a 24″ barrel that was made for one year only. This one has some wear, but with the small numbers produced this is still a great find for a Remington fan, plus how many do you think survived over 50 years till now? Please see our photos and good luck!
