Our Assessment: The Remington 7400 Weathermaster is a variant of the popular Remington 7400 series of semi-automatic rifles, specifically designed to withstand harsh weather conditions. Introduced as an evolution of the earlier Remington models like the 740, 742, and 7400, the Weathermaster variant is distinguished by its matte nickel plated barrel and receiver, and a synthetic stock, which enhance its durability and resistance to the elements. This makes the rifle particularly suited for hunters and shooters who operate in wet and cold environments where corrosion and wear are major concerns.

Chambered in the potent .270 Winchester this 7400 Weathermaster offers the stopping power needed for various game sizes at different ranges. Its semi-automatic action allows for quick follow-up shots, which is highly beneficial in dynamic hunting scenarios. Additionally, this rifle features a detachable magazine for easy reloading and a smooth action that Remington rifles are known for, providing a reliable and comfortable shooting experience. The combination of these features makes the 7400 Weathermaster a robust tool for outdoor enthusiasts who need a firearm that performs consistently in demanding conditions.  Please see our photos and good luck on your bidding! – L.S.
