Markings: The left side of the receiver is marked “Remington / MODEL 721” with the serial number. The left side of the barrel is marked “REMINGTON ARMS CO., INC., ILION, N.Y. / MADE IN U.S.A. PATENTS PENDING 300 H&H MAG.”. The left side of the chamber is marked “77”, “70”.
Barrel Length: Approximately 26”.
Sights / Optics: The front sight is a beaded blade dovetailed to a serrated ramped base to the barrel. The rear sight provision dovetail is filled. The top of the receiver is mounted with a Redfield 3x-9x Scope. The sight picture is clear. There are scratches and scuffs on the outside of the scope.
Stock Configuration & Condition: The stock is a one piece smooth hardwood stock with semi-pistol grip, fluted monte carlo comb with cheek piece, 2 sling studs, and Pachmayr rubber buttpad. There are a few light scratches and compression lines on the stock. The LOP measures 13.5” from the front of the trigger to the back of the buttpad. The stock rates in about Very Good overall condition.

Finish Originality: Refurbished
Bore Condition: The bore is bright and the rifling is sharp. There is no erosion in the bore. There is some minor fouling in the grooves. In this writer’s opinion the bore rates 9/10.
Overall Condition: This rifle retains about 97% of its metal finish. The balance of the finish shows some minor operation wear on the wear. There is some minor oxidation and the receiver. The screw heads are sharp and pins are unmarred. The markings are clear. Overall, this rifle rates in about Very Good condition for a C&R refurbished rifle.
Mechanics: The action functions correctly. We did not fire this rifle. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance requirements.
