The left side of the receiver is marked with “U.S.”, “RR54173M” a QR code and “REMINGTON ARMS MODEL 700 M24”. The buttpad is marked “H-S PRECISION”. The safety is marked “F” and “S”. The Scope is marked with “SPRINGFIELD ARMORY 6X40 GOVERNMENT MODEL 7.62mm U.S. Pat. Pend. JAPAN”.
Barrel Length: 24” Threaded to 5/8ths x 24TPI. 26” with the attached muzzle device.
Sights / Optics: This rifle has no provisions for iron sights. The top of the receiver has been drilled and tapped and currently has a split scope base mounted to it. There is a Springfield Armory fixed 6 power by 40mm Scope mounted to the bases. The scope features a BDC reticle designed for 7.62 NATO. The sight picture is clear, the turrets have a very positive click adjustment. Overall the Scope is in Excellent Condition.
Stock Configuration & Condition: The stock is an H-S Precision textured synthetic stock with a full length bedding block, semi-pistol grip, fluted straight comb, 2 sling studs, and black rubber buttpad. The LOP measures 13.5” inches from the front of the trigger to the end of the buttpad. The stock has no cracks, or chips and shows little to no handling wear. The screw heads throughout the rifle are sharp and show no signs of tool marks. Overall the stock rates in about Excellent to Like New Condition.

Bore Condition: The bore is bright and the rifling is sharp. There is no erosion in the bore. In this writer’s opinion the bore rates 10/10.
Overall Condition: This Rifle retains about 99% of its metal finish. There is almost no handling wear or wear from use on this rifle. The safety is functional with positive lock up in both positions. The magazine spring is strong. The externally adjustable trigger is crisp with very little take up or overtravel. The bolt release is built inside the trigger guard just in front of the trigger shoe and has a strong spring. The checkering on the bolt knob is still clearly defined and the ejector spring is strong. This Rifle is in about Excellent to Like New Condition.
Mechanics: The action functions correctly. We did not fire this rifle. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance requirements.
