Our Assessment: The Remington Model 700 has been a staple of bolt-action rifle excellence since its introduction in 1962. Known for its strong, reliable action, it has been widely used by hunters, target shooters, and law enforcement agencies alike. Chambered in .350 Remington Magnum, this rifle delivers substantial power, making it an ideal choice for hunting big game at medium ranges.

The .350 Remington Magnum was introduced in 1965 as one of the first short-action magnum cartridges. While it did not achieve widespread commercial success, it remains a potent cartridge capable of taking large North American game, including elk, moose, and even bear. The Model 700’s internal magazine with a hinged floorplate allows for secure ammunition storage while maintaining a smooth, strong action.

With its durable blued finish, high-quality walnut stock, and reliable bolt-action mechanism, this Model 700 is a fantastic option for collectors and hunters alike. Whether you’re seeking a rifle for practical field use or an addition to your collection of classic Remington’s, this well-preserved example from 1994 is an excellent choice.
