Sights/Optics: The iron sights have been removed. The receiver is drilled and tapped on the left side for a receiver sight. The top of the receiver is drilled and tapped for a scope base. There is a Weaver K4 in Pivot mounts installed on this gun. We cannot guarantee optics. 

Stock Configuration and Condition: The stock is one piece checkered laminate, flat bottom forend, semi pistol grip, fluted raised comb, and rubber recoil pad. The LOP is 13 1/2″ from trigger to recoil pad. There are sling mounts installed. There are light scratches and compression dents throughout, the most notable being on the end of the forend. There are no cracks. Overall this stock is in Very Good condition.

Bore Condition: The bore is bright. The rifling is sharp. There is no erosion. There is light fouling in the bore. In this writer’s opinion this bore rates 9.5/10.

Overall Condition: This rifle retains about 90% of its original finish. There is thinning bluing near the muzzle. There are light scratches and handling marks throughout. There is light operational wear throughout. The plastic rib is a little chalky. The plastic floor plate is slightly warped. The screw heads are sharp. The markings are clear. Overall this rifle is in Very Good condition. 

Mechanics: The action functions correctly. We did not fire this rifle. As with all previously owned firearms, thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance standards.

Assessment: The Remington Model 600 Magnum is one of the more distinctive bolt action rifles produced during the mid-20th century, introduced in the 1960s as a lightweight, fast-handling carbine built for powerful short-action cartridges. Known for its compact 18 1/2″ barrel, dog-leg bolt handle, and ventilated rib, the Model 600 stood apart visually while offering practical field performance. By 1965, examples like this represented the early production period of the model, which has since developed a strong following due to its unique design and association with hard-hitting magnum chamberings in a compact platform.

Chambered in .350 Remington Magnum, this rifle is paired with a cartridge introduced alongside the Model 600 and specifically designed for short-action rifles. The .350 Rem Mag delivers substantial energy in a relatively compact case, offering strong performance for larger game at moderate ranges. This example presents in very good condition, retaining approximately 90% of its original finish with light handling wear and some thinning near the muzzle. The laminate stock remains in very good condition with minor marks and no structural concerns, while the bore is bright with sharp rifling and minimal fouling. The rifle is equipped with a Weaver K4 scope in pivot mounts and a sling, adding to its practical field configuration. Noted details include a slightly chalky vent rib and a mildly warped plastic floorplate, both consistent with age. The action functions correctly, and the rifle maintains the distinctive character and performance attributes that define the Model 600 Magnum.
