Our Assessment: The Remington Model 600 is a unique and highly sought-after bolt-action rifle, produced in the 1960s as a compact, high-power hunting rifle. Chambered in the powerful .350 Remington Magnum, this rifle was designed for serious big game hunting in a lightweight, short-barreled package.
The Model 600’s distinctive ventilated rib, short 18.5” barrel, and laminated stock make it a standout among bolt-action rifles. It was one of the first factory rifles to be chambered in .350 Remington Magnum, a cartridge designed for excellent stopping power on large game, making it an ideal choice for North American hunting.
This example remains in Very Good condition with most of its original blued finish intact, sharp rifling, and an attractive laminate stock with classic Remington styling. With its C&R eligibility and powerful chambering, this rifle would make a fantastic addition to any Remington collection or an excellent companion for hunters seeking a compact, hard-hitting rifle.
