Markings: The left side of the barrel is marked “410 GA FOR 3 IN OR SHORTER PLASTIC SHELLS” The left side of the receiver is marked “REMINGTON WINGMASTER MODEL 870 / S340914H” The right side of the barrel is marked “REMINGTON ARMS CO, INC, ILION NY U.S.A. / PATENT NUMBERS 645873 – 2675638 – 2780881 – 2719375” as well as remington proof marks.

Sights / Optics: Front bead sight mounted on the top of the rib. The second barrel has a front bead sight mounted on a post attached to the barrel.
Stock Configuration & Condition: Fluted straight comb wood stock, checkered and capped semi pistol grip, checkered and grooved forend, and checkered buttplate. There are scratches on the buttstock and forend. There are no cracks or chips. The LOP is 14.25” from the front of the trigger to the back of the buttpad. The stock rates in Very Good Condition.

Overall Condition: This shotgun retains about 97% of its metal finish. There are moderate scratches on the receiver and barrel. There is operational wear on the magazine tube, and thinning on the bottom of the receiver. The markings are clear. Overall, this shotgun rates in about Very Good condition.
Mechanics: The action functions correctly. We did not fire this rifle. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance requirements.

The Remington 870 has been used for everything from hunting and sports, to home defense, law enforcement and even military applications. You cannot find a better all around shotgun than the Remington 870 Wingmaster.
