Markings: The left side of the receiver is marked “S6459222”, “Remington / MODEL 700”. The left side of the barrel is marked “*Christensen Arms* 7MM ULTRA MAG”.
Barrel Length: 26” Christensen Arms Carbon Fiber. 28” with muzzle break.
Sights / Optics: No provisions for iron sights. The top of the receiver is mounted with a Carl Zeiss Conquest 3.5-10×44 MC Rifle Scope with Duplex Crosshair Reticle. The sight picture is clear. The glass is clean. The scope rates in Very Good condition. There is some handling wear scattered about the body.
Stock Configuration & Condition: The stock is one piece checkered synthetic with semi-pistol grip, straight comb with cheek piece, Limb Saver buttpad, and two sling studs front and rear. The bolt is Jeweled. The LOP measures approximately 13 ½” from the front of the trigger to the back of the rubber buttpad. The stock rates in about Excellent overall condition. The checkering is crisp with faintly worn peaks on the left side of the handguard.
Type of Finish: Stainless receiver and bottom metal. Carbon Fiber barrel.
Finish Originality: Original
Bore Condition: The bore is bright and the rifling is sharp. There is no erosion. In this writer’s opinion the bore rates 10/10.
Overall Condition: This rifle retains about 99% of its metal finish. There are no notable defects outside of a few light handling marks and faint operation wear on the bolt. The markings are clear. The screwheads are strong and sharp. Overall, this rifle rates in about Excellent condition.
Mechanics: The action functions correctly. We did not fire this rifle. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance requirements.
