Overall Condition: This handgun retains about 98% of its metal finish. The cylinder has a few light marks and a turn line that has thinned the finish. There is little evidence of use on this weapon. The cylinder does have burn marks on the face. The screw heads are sharp. The markings are clear. Overall, this revolver is in about very fine condition. Please see the pictures.
Mechanics: The action functions correctly. The double-action trigger is smooth and the single action crisp. The cylinder produces light play in lockup on each of the six chambers with the trigger depressed. We did not fire this handgun. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance requirements.
Box, Paperwork & Accessories: none
Our Assessment: This is a 4? example, built on a square-butt frame which was produced half as much as the round-butt version. Combine that with the 4? heavy barrel and you have a K-frame .9mm with a 6-round capacity that can be used for home defense, carry, or duty and excel at all three. Only 10,270 units were produced and 6,486 of those were in round butt configuration. So rare is the word on this revolver. So bid high and bid firm. I highly encourage you to take a look at the condition in our high quality photos. Good luck on your bid. -K.F.
