Markings: The left side of the barrel is marked “Smith & Wesson.” The right side of the barrel is marked “.44 Magnum.” The right side of the frame bears the “Marcas Registradas” marking, and the side plate is marked with the S&W monogram.

Sights / Optics: The front sight is a serrated ramp with a red insert. The rear sight is a Microclick adjustable square-notch sight.
Grip Configuration & Condition: The grips are a one-piece walnut target-length combat-style design with finger grooves, a maple spacer, and a walnut butt cap. The grips have gold-colored medallions. They are in Excellent condition with minimal handling wear.

Bore Condition: The bore is bright, and the rifling is sharp. There is light fouling present. In this writer’s opinion, the bore rates 9.5/10.
Overall Condition: This revolver retains about 98% of its metal finish. There is a very light turn line on the cylinder. The front face of the cylinder shows some evidence of firing with minor burn marks. The nickel finish remains bright. The screw heads are sharp, the pins are clean, and the markings are crisp. Overall, this revolver rates in about Excellent condition.
Mechanics: The action functions correctly. We did not fire this revolver. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance requirements.
Box, Paperwork & Accessories: This revolver comes with a zippered pouch labeled “Performance Center.” While the pouch is from Smith & Wesson’s Performance Center, this revolver itself is not a Performance Center model.
