Our Assessment: The SIG SAUER P220 is a semi-automatic handgun that was first introduced in 1975. It was designed by the Swiss arms manufacturer SIG Sauer for use by the Swiss Army and police forces. Since then, it has become a popular firearm for law enforcement, military, and civilian use around the world.
The P220 is a full-sized handgun that is available in a variety of calibers, including .45 ACP, 9mm, and .38 Super. It features a double-action/single-action trigger mechanism, which allows for both a long, heavy trigger pull for the first shot and a shorter, lighter trigger pull for subsequent shots. This design makes the P220 an accurate and reliable firearm that is suitable for self-defense and target shooting.
This SIG P220 comes with its original factory box, grips, and magazines in the not so common 9mm chambering which makes it a collectable piece for any collection. Please see our photos, specs below, and good luck on your bid on this Swiss Army Pistol!
