SOLD FOR: $1601
WOA#: WY230122WW001
Our Assessment: The Remington Four .30-06 caliber rifle. This bad boy was first introduced back in 1980 to replace the Model 788, and it was only produced until 1984. But we’re not talking about just any Remington Four, we’re talking about the Special Diamond Anniversary Model that was made in 1981. This was a limited edition rifle, with only 1,500 units produced, and it was designed to commemorate Remington’s 75th anniversary of the model 8.
The Special Diamond Anniversary Model had some sweet cosmetic enhancements that really made it stand out. It had a high-polish blued finish, with a diamond laser-etched scrollwork of trapper wilderness scenes and the original model 8 that made Remigton famous along with Gold Inlaid engravings. The stock is made of high-grade walnut with an oil finish and checkering. All of these features make it a true beauty to behold.
But let’s not forget about the Remington Four’s performance. This rifle was and is known for its accuracy and reliability, making it a popular choice for hunters and target shooters alike. With a four-round magazine capacity and chambered in the versatile .30-06 cartridge, this rifle is capable of taking down a wide range of game and dare I say bears.
Overall, the Remington Four .30-06 caliber rifle, especially the Special Diamond Anniversary Model, is a highly coveted firearm among collectors and enthusiasts. Its combination of performance and aesthetic appeal make it a true gem in any firearm collection. Please see our photos, specs below and good luck on your bid!
