Stock Configuration & Condition: The two piece wood stock with a nose cap/bayonet lug, barrel band with a sling loop, side sling loop,straight grip w/ straight comb w/ and a metal buttplate. The buttplate is lightly pitted and rusted. There are light compression marks, scuffs, and scratches throughout the wood. There are cracks in the back of the receiver and mag well, there are some minor scattered chips. The LOP measures 13.5” from the front of the trigger to the back of the buttplate. The stock rates in about Very Good overall condition.

Type of Finish: Blued.

Finish Originality: Original.

Bore Condition: The bore is gray and the rifling is semi-sharp. There is moderate erosion in the bore. In this writer’s opinion, this bore rates 6/10.

Overall Condition: This rifle retains about 96% of its metal finish. There are scuffs, scratches, and rust throughout the metal surfaces. The finish on the receiver has been converted to a light patina. The front barrel band is missing. The screw heads show light use. The markings are legible. Overall this rifle rates in about Very Good condition as a C&R.

Mechanics: The action functions correctly. We did not fire this rifle. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance requirements.
