Markings: The left side of the barrel is marked “ ANACONDA / * 44 MAGNUM *”. The right side of the barrel is marked “COLT’S MFG. HARTFORD. CT USA”. The left side of the frame has a Colt Rampant. Both sides of the grip are marked with “COLT” molded at the sides. The yoke cut and crane are marked. The right side of the frame is marked with the serial number and QR Code.
Barrel Length: 6” with Full Length Vented Top Rib and Full Length Underlug
Sights / Optics: The front sight is a ramped blade with orange insert screwed to the rib. The rear sight is a square notched, leaf adjustable for windage and elevation pinned to the frame.
Stock Configuration & Condition: The grips are one-piece rubber overmolded with checkered texture with finger grooves. There are no rips or tears. The texture is well defined. Overall, the grips rate in about Excellent condition.

Bore Condition: The bore is bright and the rifling is sharp. There is no erosion. In this writer’s opinion the bore rates 10/10.
Overall Condition: This pair of handguns retain about 100% of its metal finish. The balance of the finish shows no operation wear. The cylinder has no turn-line. The screw heads are sharp. The markings are clear. Overall, this handgun rates in about Excellent condition. There is factory grease on the crane and on portions of the metal. These revolvers appear to this writer as only factory tested and are still like new. Please see the photos so you can appreciate its condition.
Mechanics: The action functions correctly and the cylinder lockup has very little play on each chamber. The double action trigger is smooth and the single action is crisp. We did not fire this handgun. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance standards.

Our Assessment: This sequential set of Colt Anaconda Model in .44 Magnum with a 6″ barrels is hard to come by. They seem to have been waiting for the right owner to take it from its case like two swords in the stone. They are still powerful and prestigious revolvers that command respect both for their formidable caliber and its place in the lineage of Colt firearms.
