Markings: The right side of the stock is marked “STEYR-DAIMLER-PUCH AG AUSTRIA / AUG/SA”. The underside of the receiver is marked circle “T”, and “E391”. The right side of the bolt is marked “E 754” with proofs and “NTD”. The barrel is marked “5,56 GUN SOUTH INC Trussy, AL. 900SA476 STR”.
Barrel Length: 20”. 21.5” with flash hider
Sights / Optics: The receiver has a long dovetailed riser to which an optics rail can be mounted. This rifle includes two optics rails. Please see photos for a better understanding of the rails.
Stock Configuration & Condition: The stock is black polymer with rubber buttpad, sling ring, ambidextrous controls, folding green vertical foregrip, and sling ring at the front base of the sight assembly. There are faint drag lines on the buttstock and the integrated pistol grip. There is an area with a series of scratches just behind the ejection port. The front grip has some light scratches and rub wear as well. The buttpad has minimal signs of wear. The LOP measures 15.25” from the front of the trigger to the back of the buttpad. Overall, the stock rates in about Good+ to Very Good condition considering its age.

Bore Condition: The bore is bright and the rifling is sharp. There is no visible erosion in the bore. The muzzle device shows green oxidation in the threads and on the crown. In this writer’s opinion the bore rates 9/10.
Overall Condition: This rifle retains about 97% of its metal finish. The flash hider shows some thinning at the end, the exposed portion of the barrel shows some light surface wear. The receiver has scattered small marks where the black finish has chipped off or been scratched off. The lugs are very clean. Overall, this rifle is in Very Good condition considering its age.
Mechanics: The action functions correctly. We did not fire this rifle. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance requirements.
Box, Paperwork & Accessories: This rifle includes 8 total magazines. 6 translucent green and 2 black. Of the six green mags there is One 42 round and 5 x 30 round. The two black mags are both 30 round magazines with windows. The two black magazines are New in bags. The 6 green magazines are all in Excellent Condition. Also includes two rails for mounting optics.

The 20-inch barrel version of the AUG SA is a versatile length, providing a good balance between portability and accuracy. The longer barrel enhances the ballistic performance of the 5.56x45mm NATO round, delivering better velocity and range, while the bullpup configuration keeps the overall length of the rifle manageable. One of the most distinctive features of the Steyr AUG is its modularity. The rifle can be quickly disassembled into several components without tools, allowing for easy maintenance and configuration changes. This is a “Special Receiver” Pre-Ban These were made up of a variety of parts, if you check the receiver there are no markings for the manufacturer, just an “E” Prefix serial. All of the magazines that were picked up are also pre-ban. It is correct that all the parts don’t match
Overall, the Steyr AUG SA is an iconic firearm that represents a significant evolution in rifle design, combining the advantages of a bullpup configuration with the reliability and performance that have made the AUG a staple in military and civilian arsenals worldwide.
