Our Assessment: The Uzi Model A is an iconic submachine gun that needs no introduction. It was designed by Israeli Major Uziel Gal in the late 1940s, and it quickly became a favorite of soldiers and law enforcement officers worldwide. Its compact size, impressive firepower, and reliability have made it a staple of action movies and video games alike.
This is one sweet little submachine gun that packs a punch. Now, before we get started, let me remind you that this is a pre-ban model, meaning it was made before the 1994 Assault Weapons Ban. So, if you’re lucky enough to get your hands on one of these, consider yourself a lucky dog.
This Uzi was imported to Action Arms between 1980 and 1983, and it’s one of the most sought-after firearms in the world. The close bolt design means it’s much more accurate than the open bolt model, and the semi-auto capability means you won’t be running through rounds like they’re going out of style.
These UZI’s are just pure fun to shoot. It’s compact, a bit heavy, and the blowback action is just oh-so-smooth. And let’s not forget about the iconic design. This is a gun that screams “I mean business.”
Now, if you’re lucky enough to get your hands on one of these pre-ban Uzis, you’re going to want to take good care of it. Treat it like the fine piece of machinery it is, and it’ll take care of you in return.
So there you have it, folks. The Pre-Ban Uzi Model A in Close Bolt Semi-Auto. This is a gun that’s sure to put a smile on your face every time you pull the trigger. This one comes with all its original accessories which makes it even more of a collector’s item. Display it with that short length display barrel or swap it out with the carbine length rifled barrel and become every paper badguy’s worst nightmare. Good luck on your bid!
