Markings: The right side of the magwell is marked, “Made in Germany / HK Inc / Arl. Va. 22 201 / Kal. 308”. The left and right side of the safety selector is marked, “S” and “F”. The left side of the magwell is marked, “HK 91 A 026393” with a couple proof marks including the manufacture date code, “IA” for 1980. The top of the charging handle is marked, “41A”. The left side of the buttstock between the two takedown pins is marked, “41A”. The left side of the handguard is marked “31A”.

Sights / Optics: The front sight is a hooded post. The rear sight is an adjustable diopter drum marked 2 3 4. The receiver is mounted with a Bushnell Banner 3-9×38 Rifle Scope.
Stock Configuration & Condition: The furniture on this G3 battle rifle is a G3/HK91 polymer stock set. The pistol grip is polymer with finger grooves and thumb rest. The handguard is smooth polymer with front cap and appropriate grooves for the folding bipod. The top of the receiver is mounted with a case deflector. The LOP measures 14.75” from the front of the trigger to the back of the buttplate. The stock rates in about Fine overall condition. There are some light scratches. The pistol grip is very clean. There are no chips or cracks. The handguard has rub marks from the bipod resting against it.

Bore Condition: The bore is bright and the rifling is sharp. There is no visible erosion in the bore.
Overall Condition: This rifle retains about 99% of its blue-gray finish. The screw heads are sharp and pins are unmarred. The markings are clear. There is some finish loss where the charging handle slides. There are two very small and hard to notice nicks on the piston tube as swell as some spots on the left side where the finnish has been nicked but then filled in. Overall, this vintage rifle rates in about Excellent condition.
Mechanics: The action functions correctly. We did not fire this rifle. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance requirements.
