Markings: The left side of the barrel extension, left of the frame and top-rear of the bolt are each marked “7043”. The top of the barrel extension has a Valmet logo and “L-35”. There are inspection marks on the barrel and trigger

Barrel Length: 4 ¾”

Sights / Optics: The front sight is a blade with a vertical rear face that is dovetailed into a serrated, ramped, banded base on the barrel. The rear sight is a flat topped “U” notch integral to the back of the barrel extension.

Stock Configuration & Condition: The grips are two-piece checkered brown plastic with “VKT” logo at their tops. The grips have some verdigris in their checkering from the holster, but otherwise show only minor handling marks. The checkering is sharp. There are no chips or cracks. Overall, the grips are in about Excellent condition.

Bore Condition: The bore is bright with sharp rifling. There is no erosion in the bore.

Overall Condition: This handgun retains about 97% of its metal finish. The finish is generally strong with some scattered minor nicks and scuffs. There is some thinning at sharper corners and the front edges of the front sight band. The action shows minor operational wear. The screw heads are sharp. The markings are clear. Overall, this pistol is in about Fine-Excellent condition.

Mechanics: The action functions correctly. We did not fire this handgun. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance standards.

Box, Paperwork & Accessories: This pistol comes with a brown leather flap-holster, cleaning rod, magazine load-assist/screwdriver tool, and a single 8-round magazines. The holster has light-moderate wear with scattered scuffing, discoloration, verdigris at metal fixtures and intact stitching, in about Very Good condition. The magazine’s floorplate is not properly secured to the body and popped off when we loaded a single snap-cap for a function check. This will need to be addressed before the magazine can be used. Otherwise, the magazine shows minor operational wear, intact feed lips, and a strong spring, appearing in Fine condition but rating Fair due to the floorplate.
