Markings: The left side of the trunnion is marked with a circled 11, “1979 CH29979”. Bottom of the receiver is marked “armory USA / Houston. Tx”. The right side of the receiver is marked “MOD AUSA / SER# AA5489 / CAL 762X39”. The rear sight is marked “1-10” and “S” for the battle position. The trigger is marked “ALG”. The pistol grip is marked “MAGPUL”, “MOE AK+”. There is an upside down P within a diamnond acceptance stamp on the left side of the dust cover. The left side of the trunnion is marked with several proofs. The left side of the bolt carrier is marked “29979” with two proofs. The bolt head is marked with proofs and “29979”. The dust cover/recoil spring lug is marked “9979”. The rear of the dust cover is marked “9979”.
Barrel Length: 16.5” threaded. 17” with fixed Slant Muzzle Brake. The brake is very tight to the barrel but is removable. We did not force it.
Sights / Optics: The front sight is an adjustable post between two protective ears, and the rear sight is an adjustable tangent “u” notch.
Stock Configuration & Condition: The buttstock is an under folding metal stock. The pistol grip is a Magpul MOE AK+ rubber overmolded grip with storage compartment. The two piece handguards are wood with appropriate hand swells. The left side of the nose cap has a sling ring. The left side of the folding assembly is has a sling ring as well. The bottom of the barrel has its cleaning rod and bayonet lug intact. The LOP measures 13” from the front of the trigger to the back of the buttplate. There are no chips or cracks. There are some scratches and scuffs on the buttstock but no signs of abuse or any bends in the metal. The pistol grip shows light handling but remains relatively clean with crisp serrations on the front and back straps. The handguard is has a few small nicks and compression marks. The stock rates in about Very Good overall condition.

Bore Condition: The chrome bore is mostly bright with well defined rifling. There is some minor fouling in the grooves. In this writer’s opinion the bore rates 9/10.
Overall Condition: This rifle retains about 90% of its metal finish. The balance of the finish shows some operation wear. There are scratches and scuffs on the receiver, primarily on the dust cover. There is insertion wear on the mag release lever and magwell. The screw heads are sharp and the pins are unmarred. The markings are crisp. Overall this rifle is in Very Good condition.
Mechanics: The action functions correctly. We did not fire this rifle. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance requirements.
Box, Paperwork & Accessories: This rifle comes with its correct surplus Polish nylon sling and a Polish Type 2 bayonet and scabbard both marked “7634”. The bayonet and scabbard rate in Excellent condition. The blade is sharp with no nicks or signs of use or abuse on the edge. The point is sharp. The edge appears original. There is finish loss on the leading edges but other than that and some light sheathing wear, the knife is pristine.
