Choke: The barrels are threaded for Perazzi choke tubes. This shotgun comes with a set of installed Perazzi chokes numbered “6” and “8”. Choke diameter is marked “18.7”. There are no other choke tubes. There is no choke tool.
Sights / Optics: The front sight is a rear-facing white bead fixed to the rib above the muzzles. There is a smaller mid-bead fixed to the rib. The top of the rib is finely checkered and serrated to help reduce glare.
Weight: 8 lbs, 14.6 oz.
Stock Configuration & Condition: The stocks are two-piece checkered wood featuring a semi-pistol grip with a right side palm swell, an adjustable comb and a Perazzi black rubber buttpad. The wood shows only a few light nicks, dings and some minor handling and storage marks. The checkering is sharp. There are no chips or cracks. The LOP measures 14 3/4” from the front of the trigger to the back of the buttpad. The comb is adjustable and the following drops are taken in the down position. The drop at the comb is 1 1/2”. The drop at the heel is 1 3/4”. The cast is neutral. The stocks are in Excellent overall condition.

Bore Condition: The bores are mostly bright. There is a bit of stubborn fouling but no erosion in the bores. In this writer’s opinion, the bores rate a 9 or 10 out of 10.
Overall Condition: This shotgun retains about 99% of its metal finish. The balance of the finish shows no notable wear or damage, just some light handling marks. The screw heads are sharp. The markings are clear. Overall, this shotgun is in Excellent condition.
Mechanics: The action functions correctly. The barrel lockup is tight with no play to the receiver. We did not fire this firearm. We have cleaned this firearm and performed a mechanic’s check but expect many will want to clean the firearm again depending on their standards.
Box, Paperwork & Accessories: This shotgun comes with a Perazzi hard-sided case, an instruction manual with factory handouts, Perazzi lubricant, two (2) Perazzi snap caps, comb spacers and some maintenance tools.
Our Assessment: Perazzi sounds like a high end sports car, and in the gun world it is. They have long been a staple of just about any kind of shotgun sport you can name, famous for their craftsmanship, beauty, and durability. As such, they command a high price, with some buyers going all the way to Italy to be measured in person so that their gun can be specially and exactly fit to them. That said, like a high-end sports car, it can be much more economical to buy used. This one is their MX2000S models with 31.5″ barrels. Not only does it look sharp, but it comes with a bevy of factory accessories including a Perazzi case, tools, and paperwork.
