Our Assessment: The Palmetto Armory SGW, not to be confused with Palmetto State Armory, and now known as Olympic Arms, began their aspiring career in 1956 through high quality barrel production and began manufacturing their very own AR-15 rifles in 1982. Their first batches of AR-15’s earned them the reputation as one of the most trusted and reputable companies in the firearms scene. The B15A1 was the first billet alternative to the Colt AR-15 which makes it highly collectable and desired among those with an affinity for AR-15 history.
This Pre Ban lower is matched with a Heavy Stainless Steel Barrel graded for competition shooting. The JP Enterprise bolt makes the action as smooth as can be and paired with the extra of the barrel and buttstock, this rifle is primed for flawless marksmanship practice. If you are looking for a collectable AR or want a new addition to bring to the range, this rifle is the perfect fit. Good Luck!
