Markings: The left side of the receiver is marked “COLT / AR-15 / 9MM CARBINE / CAL. 9MM-NATO / SER. TA09743”, “COLT’S FIREARMS DIVISION / COLT INDUSTRIES / HARTFORD, CONN. / U.S.A.”, “SAFE/FIRE”. The top of the barrel is marked “C MP CHROME BORE 9MM-NATO”. The left side of the upper in the carry handle recess is marked “C M”.
Barrel Length: 16”, 18” with A1 birdcage flash hider.
Sights / Optics: The front sight is an adjustable post iron sight and the rear has an L-type flip peep sight. Standard A1 style sights. Also in the box is a Retro 4x fixed power scope marked “COLT 4×20” and a top turret marked with yardages from 100 yards to 500 yards, which can be mounted to the carry handle with a see-through style mount. The scope has a simple duplex reticle.
Stock Configuration & Condition: The buttstock is a CAR style collapsible buttstock with 2 position adjustment, sling slot, and checkered integrated buttplate. The pistol grip is an A2 grip. The handguard is a carbine length round ribbed polymer grip. This is an older receiver with 3 holes on each side of the magwell, case deflector. The LOP measures 13-1/4” from the front of the trigger to the back of the fully extended buttstock and 10” when collapsed. The furniture shows very little signs of handling or wear and rates in Excellent overall condition.
Magazine Quantity & Condition: This rifle includes 2x original 20-round Factory Colt 9mm Magazines, and 2x 32-round magazines, in Excellent condition.

Bore Condition: The bore is bright and the rifling is sharp. This rifle appears to be unfired. In this writer’s opinion the bore rates 10/10.
Overall Condition: This rifle retains about 99% of its metal finish. The finish shows minimal handling wear. The screw heads are sharp and the pins are unmarred. The feed ramp and bolt face are smooth and clean. The markings are clear. Overall, this rifle rates in about Excellent condition.
Mechanics: The action functions correctly. We did not fire this rifle. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance requirements.
