Sights / Optics: The front sight is a blade integral to the barrel above the muzzle. The rear sight is a U-notch dovetailed to the top rear of the slide.
Stock Configuration & Condition: The grip is a one-piece checkered wood encompassing the backstrap. The grip shows light nicks, scratches, compressions and some minor handling and storage marks. The checkering is visually distinct. There are a couple of spots of discoloration in the wood. The grips are in Very Good Plus overall condition.

Bore Condition: The bore is light gray, the rifling is well-defined. There is some persistent fouling and light erosion in the bore. In this writer’s opinion, this bore rates an 8 or 9 out of 10.
Overall Condition: This pistol retains about 97% of its metal refinish. The balance of the finish shows light nicks, scuffs and handling marks. The screw heads are well-defined. The markings are clear. Overall, this pistol is in Fine condition.
Mechanics: The action functions correctly. We did not fire this firearm. We have cleaned this firearm and performed a mechanic’s check but expect many will want to clean the firearm again depending on their standards.
Box, Paperwork & Accessories: This handgun comes with a brown leather holster and two (2) 8-round magazines with intact feed lips and strong follower springs. One of the magazines has a baseplate marked “O.2810” as a property mark but may not be original to the handgun.
Our Assessment: Mauser began working on a locked-breech semi-automatic pistol, the M1907, and several patents were filed, but the pistol was never produced. The design was changed to a blowback design and released in 6.35mm in 1910. A slightly larger version of the same pistol was made in 7.65mm as the Model 1914. There are several variations due to changes such as lettering or slide serrations to name just a few, becoming the 1910/14, 1910/34, and 1934 models. The Model 10/14/34 pistols were made from 1910 until 1941, with close to a million pistols manufactured. This pistol is a N@zi German navy with the N@zi eagle over “M” on the right of the frame without a property number.
This particular pistol is described as a 4th variation model on pg. 172 “Axis Pistols Volume II” by Jan C. Still where this handgun’s EXACT serial number is listed. This example looks great and will add significant prestige to your military collection, especially if you have a copy of the book to display beside it.
