Grip Configuration & Condition: The revolvers are currently fitted with custom white grips, enhancing their striking aesthetic appeal. The original factory grips are also included in soft protective bags, allowing the owner to restore them to factory configuration if desired.

Bore Condition: The bores are bright with sharp rifling, showing no signs of wear, pitting, or corrosion, confirming that these revolvers have been exceptionally well cared for.
Overall Condition: These revolvers retain 99% of their original finish, with no notable wear or damage, a testament to their collector-grade preservation.
Mechanics: The actions function flawlessly, with buttery smooth cocking, precise timing, and crisp trigger pulls, thanks to the custom tuning by Peacemaker Specialists. We did not fire these revolvers. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning and inspection are recommended before operation.
Box, Paperwork & Accessories: These revolvers come with their original factory boxes, adding to their collector value and authenticity. The original grips are also included, stored in soft bags for preservation.
Provenance & Historical Significance: These revolvers were owned by Captain George Baylor, SASS #24287, a member of the SASS Hall of Fame, making them a piece of Cowboy Action Shooting history. Captain Baylor starred in an episode of COWBOYS TV, where these revolvers were featured and fired. According to him, that was the only time they were shot, as he considered them too beautiful for regular SASS competition use.
Additionally, these revolvers are documented in “Captain Baylor’s Big Bad Book on Cowboy Action Shooting,” further cementing their historical significance in the SASS community.
