Markings: The left side of the receiver is marked “LARUE TACTICAL” / “LEANDER, TX”, “SAFE FIRE”. The left side of the upper is marked “LARUE”. The right side of the upper is marked “LARUE”. The right side of the lower is marked “LARUE” / “TACTICAL” / “MODEL LT-15” / “CAL MULTI” / “LTS-S22802”. The muzzle brake is marked “LaRue TranQuilo LTB223”. Inside the magwell is hand written “.223”.
Barrel Length: 18” barrel, 20” with Larue TranQuilo 223 Muzzle Brake/Suppressor host. The twist rate marking is covered by the handguard and is unknown.
Sights / Optics: The top of the rifle has a 18” uninterrupted picatinny rail for optic and sight mounting options. There is a Vortex Viper 6.5-20×44 scope attached to a quick-detach Larue scope mount atop the picatinny rail.
Stock Configuration & Condition: The furniture set includes a 13″ Mlok handguard with a flat-top picatinny rail, QD point mounted to the left side of the guard, and 3-slot picatinny rail attached to the bottom of the guard. The pistol grip is a textured Larue A-PEG grip with palm swell and flared base. The buttstock is a Magpul PRS Gen 3 stock with an adjustable comb and extending buttpad. There is a sling loop and 2x QD cups on the right side of the buttstock. There are minor handling scuffs and scratches along the handguard. The LOP measures 14 3/8″ from the front of the trigger to the rear of the buttpad’s shortest point. Overall, the furniture set is in Fine condition.

Bore Condition: The bore is bright and the rifling is sharp. There is no visible erosion in the bore. In this writer’s opinion the bore rates 9/10.
Overall Condition: This rifle retains about 97% of its metal finish. There are minor handling scratches and scuffs along the metal surfaces. The bolt and action show operational wear. The screw heads are sharp and the pins are unmarred. The markings are clear. Overall, this rifle is in Fine condition.
Mechanics: The action functions correctly, as does the safety. We did not fire this rifle. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance requirements.

Our Assessment: LaRue Tactical of Leander, Texas traces its roots to a precision-machining operation founded in 1980 and has become particularly well known for precision AR-platform rifles, components, and quick-detach optic mounts. LaRue describes its LT-15 as its small-frame rifle platform, and the company’s precision-oriented 5.56/.223 offerings have included Stealth and OBR-pattern rifles and uppers in 18″ barrel configurations. This rifle is outfitted for precision shooting with a Magpul PRS Gen 3 adjustable stock, LaRue A-PEG grip, LaRue quick-detach scope mount, and a Vortex Viper 6.5-20×44 riflescope. The muzzle is fitted with LaRue’s TranQuilo muzzle brake/adapter, a 17-4 stainless device designed both as a brake and as the mounting interface for the company’s TranQuilo suppressor.
This LT-15 remains in Fine condition, retaining approximately 97% of its metal finish with only minor handling and operational wear. The furniture remains Fine, while the bright, sharply rifled bore rates 9/10 with no visible erosion. The action and safety function correctly, though we did not fire the rifle. It is accompanied by the installed Vortex Viper scope in its LaRue QD mount and a Fine 10-round Duramag magazine.
