Markings: The top of the barrel is marked “KIMBER OF OREGON, INC, CLACKAMAS, OREGON U.S.A. The left side of the receiver is marked “820421 KIMBER MODEL 82”. The scope is marked “LEUPOLD VX-3 6.5-20x40MM LONG RANGE”.

Sights / Optics: There are no provisions for iron sights. Mounted to the receiver are two Weaver mount Talley style rings holding a LEUPOLD VX-3 6.5-20x40MM LONG RANGE scope, with ¼ moa covered turrets. The sight picture is very clear. Overall the scope is in Very Fine condition.
Stock Configuration & Condition: The Stock is a one piece smooth laminate stock with a capped semi-pistol grip, fluted straight comb, two sling studs, and a rubber buttpad. The length of pull is 13.75” from the front of the trigger to the back of the buttplate. The stock shows very light handling wear with an extremely small scuff out of the right side near the front scope ring, and a very small punch mark on the left side just in front of the buttpad. There are no visible chips or cracks. Overall the stock is in Very Fine to Excellent Condition.

Bore Condition: The bore is bright and the rifling is sharp. There is no visible erosion in the bore. In this writer’s opinion the bores rates 9/10.
Overall Condition: This rifle retains about 99% of its metal finish. There is some wear on the bolt and the friction surfaces of the receiver with a few small nicks in the receiver from removing and reinstalling the bolt. The screw heads are sharp. The pins are unmarred. The markings are clear. Overall, this rifle rates in about Very Fine to Excellent condition.
Mechanics: The action functions properly. We did not fire this rifle. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance requirements.
