Sights / Optics: The front sight is a german silver blade dovetailed to the barrel. The rear sight is a u notch buckhorn sight.
Stock Configuration & Condition: The stock is one piece Maple with straight grip, straight comb with cheek piece, metal buttplate, and two ramrod pipes with installed ramrod. The LOP measures approximately 12 1/2” and 13 5/8” from the triggers to the back of the buttplate, respectively. The stock rates in about Excellent overall condition. There are a few small compressions. There are no chips or cracks. There is thinning on the buttlate with some erosion concentrated at the heel.

Bore Condition: The bore is bright and the rifling is sharp. There is no erosion in the bore. In this writer’s opinion the bore rates 9/10. There is some minor corrosion in the muzzle.
Overall Condition: This rifle retains about 90% of its metal finish. The screw heads are sharp to tool marked with serviceable slots. The markings are clear. The rear sight is slightly bent. There is general operation wear on the frizzen. Overall, this rifle rates in about Fine condition for a contemporary flintlock.
Mechanics: The action functions correctly. We did not fire this rifle. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance requirements.
