Markings: The left side of the receiver is marked, “GALIL ACE SAR / CAL. 7.62×39 / IWI – ISRAEL” as well as “G20005934” and a QR code. . The safety selector is marked, “S F” on the left side at the top of the pistol grip and “SF” on the safety selector lever on the right side. The right side of the receiver is marked “IWI US MIDDLETOWN, PA CHF/CL 1:9.45 / H3”.
Barrel Length: 16”, 17.25” with the A2 style flash hider.
Sights / Optics: The front sight is an adjustable post sight set between two protective wings integrated into the gas block. The rear sight is a L type dual aperture sight set between two protective wings. The top of the receiver has a 16” section of picatinny rail for the mounting of optics and accessories.
Stock Configuration & Condition: The furniture set on the rifle includes a 6.5” forend with removable rail covers that cover picatinny rails at 3, 6, and 9 o’clock, an IWI integral pistol grip with storage, and a IWI CAR 15 style telescoping stock connected to a folding stock mount. The LOP is 15” from the front of the trigger to the back of the buttpad at full extension and 11.5” when collapsed but not folded. The OAL with the stock folded is 27”. The furniture on this rifle is in Like New condition.
Magazine Quantity & Condition: This rifle includes One Magpul 30 round 7.62 x 39 magazine in Excellent condition.
Type of Finish: Black and Gray Matte.
Finish Originality: Original
Bore Condition: The bore is bright and the rifling is sharp. There is no visible erosion in the bore. This rifle appears unfired outside of factory testing. In this writer’s opinion the bore rates 10/10.
Overall Condition: This rifle retains about 99.9% of its metal finish. The balance of the finish shows little to no wear. Overall, this rifle rates in about Like New condition.
Mechanics: The action functions correctly. We did not fire this rifle. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance requirements.
Box, Paperwork & Accessories: This rifle includes the magazine, orange chamber flag, chamber lock with keys, snap on cheek riser, blue plastic gun sleeve and paperwork.
