Sights / Optics: The front sight is an orange fiber bead. There is a mid silver bead. The rib is checkered to reduce glare.
Stock Configuration & Condition: The stock is a two piece checkered wood set with a push button beaver tail forend, capped semi-pistol grip, fluted straight comb, and serrated buttplate. THere are light scratches and compression marks throughout. There is a crack at the toe. The checkering is sharp. The LOP measures 14? from the front of the trigger to the back of the buttplate. Overall, the stock set is in about Good – Very Good condition.

Finish Originality: Original.
Bore Condition: The bores are bright with streaks of minor plastic fouling. There is no erosion in the bores. In this writer’s opinion, the bores rate 9 out of 10.
Overall Condition: This shotgun retains about 95% of its metal finish. The balance of the finish shows handling and storage wear. There are scratches and thinning throughout. Most of the thinning on the receiver. There is faint thinning on the muzzle. Overall, this shotgun rates in about Very Good condition.
Mechanics: The action functions correctly including the ejectors. The action locks up with no play. We have not fired this shotgun. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance standards.

Our Assessment: The Ithaca-SKB Model 200E is a Japanese-made sporting double imported and marketed by Ithaca during its partnership with SKB. SKB’s official catalog archive shows the Model 200E in Ithaca catalogs from 1967 through 1977, placing it within the classic period of Japanese-produced Ithaca shotguns. Its boxlock action, automatic ejectors, single selective trigger, engraved silver-finished receiver, 28″ barrels, and fixed choke arrangement give it lasting appeal among collectors and shooters who appreciate well-made traditional field doubles.
This shotgun is in about Very Good condition overall and retains about 95% of its original blued and silver-finished metal surfaces, with scratches, thinning, and light muzzle wear. The two-piece checkered wood stock set shows light scratches, compression marks, and a crack at the toe; the checkering remains sharp. The bores are bright with no erosion and minor plastic fouling; in this writer’s opinion, the bores rate 9 out of 10. The action and ejectors function correctly, and the action locks up tightly without play. No box, paperwork, or accessories are included.
