Markings: The left side of the grip is marked “MODEL 1911-A1 / CAL .45”.  The right side of the slide is marked “SPRINGFIELD ARMORY” with the Springfield Logo.  Both sides of the slide at the rear are marked “TRP”.  The right side of the frame is marked “SPRINGFIELD / GENESEO IL USA / N364131”, “FI BRAZIL”.  The chamber is marked “S.A. .45 AUTO”.

Barrel Length: 5” Stainless Match Grade Barrel

Sights / Optics:  (NOVAK Night Sights) The front sight is a tritium dotted blade dovetailed to the slide.  The rear sight is a rectangular notch sight dovetailed to the slide with two tritium lamps.

Stock Configuration & Condition:  The grips are two piece checkered cocobolo.  The hammer and trigger are skeletonized.  The checkering is crisp with sharp peaks. There are no chips or cracks. The grip panels rate in about Very Good overall condition. There is very faint handling wear with a couple compressed diamonds at the thumb placement and scattered about the grips.

Magazine Quantity & Condition:  4x 8rd .45 Single Stack magazine with C.P. Bullets base plate extensions.

Bore Condition:  The bore is bright and the rifling is sharp. There is no erosion in the bore.  There is some copper fouling in the grooves.  In my opinion the bore rates 8.5/10.

Overall Condition:  This handgun retains about 99% of its metal finish. The markings are strong and clear.  The screw heads are sharp.  Overall, this handgun rates in Excellent condition.  There is very light operation wear on the chamber and a few nicks on the bottom of the grip frame. Other than that this pistol is nearly pristine.

Mechanics:  The action functions correctly. The trigger is crisp. The slide to frame fit is snug with no play. We did not fire this handgun. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance requirements.
